Bought this for my Mom last Christmas. Would have gotten one myself but I'm on the DSL. The unit has worked great all year. The wireless has WPA, which is a must in the age of wardriving (WEP can be cracked in under 5 minutes now). The highest reviewed Cable Modem I could find. If only her cable provider was as reliable! Every time her internet had connection problems, this poor guy was the first thing to fall under scrutiny, and have accusations thrown at it. But it was something on the providers end every time. Usually a bum connection somewhere.
